Harnesses are designed specifically for single cab short bed trucks. We use them regularly on 1955-1998 Chevrolet and GMC chassis. They will work with aftermarket and factory modified (step notched) chassis with the gas tank relocated to the rear of the frame.
Disconnect plugs at each end allow for quick removal of the cab, bed, and other components from your chassis.
-Harnesses are made using Metri Pack 150 connectors.
-All wires are 14ga txl primary wire.
-Tech Flex wire loom lined.
-12 wires in total allowing for multiple auxiliary functions.
-Includes 6 frame grommets (7/8” hole).
-Mounting tabs and locks are included.
Tail Light Harness:
Brown - Tail lights
Yellow - Left
Green - Right
Lt. Green - Reverse
Blue - Aux1 (often used for bed floor actuators up)
Pink - Aux2 (often used for bed floor actuators down)
Fuel Harness:
Red - Fuel pump (+)
Orange - Aux3 (often used for air system ignition power source)
Tan - Fuel level gauge
White - Fuel level gauge ground reference for Dakota Digital gauges.
Violet - Aux4 (often used for accent lighting)
Grey - Aux5 (often used for power bed door latch)
***NOTE: You will need a wire crimp tool that is capable of crimping Metri-Pack 150 Series terminals.***
